| | Max Rowe is a Virginia native having lived most of his life in or near Middlebrook, VA which he calls home. He is married to his loving life Stacey who shares his love of the outdoors. At the age of five Max Rowe could be found outdoors involved in either hunting or fishing. He spent his early years learning and honing his woodsmanship skills deep in the Allegany Mountains of Highland and Bath Counties in VA under the tutorage of his Father and friends. While in his twenties Max began traveling the country in pursuit of Spring Gobblers and Mature Whitetails both of which remain his greatest passion.. It was during his time hunting in the Allegany’s Max developed a cover scent for deer hunting, leading to the birth of his business (BTD Scents & Game Calls). Soon after Max turned his attention to making turkey calls and has never looked back. Currently Max is co producing, two hunting and fishing related television shows, Blue Ridge Mountain Memories TV airs weekly in the northern/central Shenandoah Valley of VA, and Just Killn Time TV which airs nationally each week on the Sportsman Channel. Both shows have been highly praised for their honest and forthright portrayal of the outdoor experience. Max’s passion for the outdoors has resulted in many quality adventures each with its own unique outcome. Max loves to use these experiences to relate a lesson learned while adding good ole boy humor and fun into the mix. Max enjoys traveling, and doing seminars while sharing knowledge and ideas with fellow sportsmen. Having no children of their own Max & Stacey love to take young folks hunting, “helping to ensure the youth of our great nation have the chance to experience the world thru a hunters eyes” that is my main goal say’s Max. “I believe that hunting teaches responsibility, an understanding of the finality of a choice, and respect of life” says Max. “These are the foundations that self respect, character, and morality are built on.” Getting more folks involved in outdoor activities is a major step in creating a stronger, thriving society in our great Country. “You will never understand until you have shared it” Max says referring to witnessing the “first” for a hunter new to the sport, when you are there behind the lens preserving the events and emotion as they unfold in nature. You can see it in the look in their eyes, or the tear on their cheek. Making and sharing memories that’s what I do, that’s what I love! A young man, while standing on the head of his first gobbler, once asked me how he could ever repay me for the experience of that morning. I told him the truth. When the time is right and you will know; take a young person and pass it on! | |
